New Business!!

November 7, 2013 | Andrews Logistics, Inc. Press Release

Shell announced this week that they would be single sourcing all lanes out of their Tampa, FL supply point to Andrews Logistics. Over the previous 4 years, we have shared the volume with another carrier. Earlier this year, Shell awarded us several lanes from their Houston Lube plant into Florida in an effort to help us create operational synergies between the 2 locations making it easier for us to manage volume fluctuations and provide a higher level of service. Through the efforts of Mike Verre and a great driver team at this location, Shell made the decision to award Andrews Logistics 100% of the lanes. The service provided to the supply point with clean trailers, on-time pickup, along with a safe and efficient delivery process were the key reasons for this decision. Traditionally, Shell Lubricants maintains multiple carries at each of it’s supply points. This move to single source with one carrier represents a high level of confidence in our organization and faith in our partnership as one of their largest bulk liquid carriers. Increasing the volume at this location allows us to add new jobs and will help tremendously in maximizing resource utilization at our Tampa terminal. Thanks to all the hard work and efforts Tampa!!

Phillips66 awarded Andrews Logistics a new lane from Bryan, TX to Kindred, ND. In addition, they are increasing volumes from their Batesville, AR supply point to this same location. We currently service the Batesville to Kindred lane through our Granite City, IL terminal. The outstanding job we are doing for them from this location has provided us with this new opportunity out of Bryan which will be serviced by our Dallas terminal and will keep 3-4 trucks busy consistently.

The common theme of the new business we are being awarded is providing a high level of service to existing customers in the safest manner possible.
