Dave F. Bernard has been named Andrews Logistics 2008
Driver of the Year. Andrews Logistics opened up its Pittsburgh Operations
in 1999 with its first customer ConocoPhillips. The operations office was
located in Aliquippa PA. Dave Bernard was the second driver hired to pull
oil for Andrews Logistics at that location and has been with Andrews
Logistics ever since. Dave Bernard makes his home in Washington PA, with
his lovely wife Michelle. When Dave is not driving, his passion is raising
and tending to his horses. Dave Bernard has been a long time dedicated and
loyal driver for Andrews Logistics. His commitment to servicing our
customers in a professional and safe manner has not gone unnoticed. He has
a strong work ethic that makes him the epitome of truck drivers. Andrews
Logistics appreciates his dedication and commitment to the company and our
customers. We look forward to many more years of service and a special
relationship between Dave and Andrews Logistics. Again, thank you Dave
Bernard. It is our honor to have you part of the team.

Brad Larson has been named Andrews Logistics 2008
Employee of the Year. Brad joined our team in December of 2004 and has
been managing our Varco Pruden account in St. Joseph, MO for the past four
years. Varco Pruden manufactures custom cut steel buildings at several
plants around the country. Andrews Logistics supplies Varco Pruden with
6-7 dedicated trucks and drivers along with 15 flatbed trailers to
transport their finished product to contractor building sites primarily in
the Midwest region. Brad has undoubtedly been the key to the success and
retention of this account. He has demonstrated his willingness to do
whatever it takes to service the customer in a safe and profitable manner.
Brad manages all aspects of the business from billing and payroll, helping
secure loads, keeping the tires inflated, and even jumping in a truck to
deliver a load if that is what needs to be done.
Brad and his wife Sue both enjoy horseback riding and Brad goes hunting
every chance he gets (when he is not working). They are recently new
“empty-nesters” with four kids Jeremy – 31, Sarah – 25, Kenny – 25, and
Ashley – 21. Thank you Brad for all you do for Andrews Logistics.
